Mark Pemberton: June 2020 Wild Factor Award Winner

To have Disciplined Execution is to exemplify operational excellence through safety, accountability, and an efficient, fast-paced environment.

Mark Pemberton won our June 2020 Wild Factor Award for having Disciplined Execution. He is an excellent example of what it means to exhibit operational excellence and #SafelyCompete in ways that have moved us forward as an organization.

He embodies the definition of our Professional Driver standard. He places a priority on the safety checks needed for a Professional Driver to compete each day. And he doesn’t lose speed while handling his safety duties. His cycle times are consistently in the top 3 each day!

Mark has trained numerous new drivers and helps protect the culture we strive for at Providence Construction. He is a leader in our company in many ways and we are so proud of the work he does.

Congratulations, Mark! Thank you for all that you do around here.

Tramain Eason: May 2020 Wild Factor Award Winner

Tramain Eason: May 2020 Wild Factor Award Winner

To have Intentional Adaptability means that someone consciously embraces change, through mutual flexibility, strategic innovation, and purpose-driven versatility to advance our people, products, and services.

Tramain Eason won our May 2020 Wild Factor Award for having Intentional Adaptability. He has been such an asset to our company with his ability to embrace change and be flexible and available for whatever his team needs.

Tramain is the proverbial swiss army knife. He has driven our quad axle dump trucks, then moved the flatbed dump truck and finally took on our water truck duties. There were some days in May when he would hit over 10 projects a day with water needs.

Tramain does his job with a positive attitude and doesn’t shy away from getting out of the truck to help the stone crew shovel the curb. He takes on each challenge with a consistency and embraces the chaotic dispatch that comes along with the water truck position.

Congratulations for an award well-deserved, Tramain! We are so grateful to have you on our team.

Juan Gonzalez: April 2020 Wild Factor Award Winner

Intentional Adaptability consciously embraces change, through mutual flexibility, strategic innovation, and purpose-driven versatility to advance our people, products, and services.

Juan Gonzalez won our January 2020 Wild Factor Award for having Intentional Adaptability. He is a great example of what it looks like to embrace change and have purpose-driven versatility in ways that help everyone around him be and do better.

Juan gets pulled in many directions with his job and has always jumped right on whatever tasks are needed for that day. In April, he helped lead the charge on our Village at Parkview project, laying over 10,000 Linear Feet of sewer line and installing 103 sewer services. Most of this project was over 18 feet deep in the ground. He led by example keeping his crew safe and training the new guys assigned to his crew.

This person is a true team player with a tremendous attitude at work each day. We are proud to work with you, Juan! Congratulations.

Jorge Romero: March 2020 Wild Factor Award Winner

Disciplined Execution: operational excellence through safety, accountability, and an efficient, fast-paced environment.

Jorge Romero won our March 2020 Wild Factor Award for having Disciplined Execution. Jorge excels at this core value, especially in prioritizing safety and being efficient and fast paced, and doing so in a way that has strengthened our company as a whole.

Jorge cleared over 50 lots in the month of March. Clearing is a dangerous job and he always performs in a safe manner, taking time before the job starts to walk his surroundings and plan out his day.

He has passed his knowledge on to many members of our team. He brings a positive attitude to work each day and can clear land at a breakneck pace. Jorge has not had a single safety incident since starting with our clearing team, exemplifying what it means to #SafelyCompete.

Let’s hear it for “el machine”, Jorge!

Jamal Barbour: February 2020 Wild Factor Award Winner

Intentional Adaptability: consciously embrace change, through mutual flexibility, strategic innovation, and purpose-driven versatility to advance our people, products, and services.

Jamal Barbour won our January 2020 Wild Factor Award for having Intentional Adaptability. The way he has shown up with flexibility and purpose-driven versatility have helped us deliver better and faster results for our clients and team members.

Jamal was thrust into a lead man role when his supervisor left unexpectedly. He took on the new challenge head on and with that big smile, and achieved success in a tremendous capacity. He has been pulled in many directions, from water service repairs for One27, to punch list items for completed jobs, cleaning job sites from pipe debris, to starting to lay water line by himself and shows up each day ready to tackle whatever lies ahead.

Jamal always takes on challenges with a positive attitude and tremendous care for his crew. His ability to be flexible with his scope of work and adapt frequently, is unrivaled.

Congratulations, Jamal!
