The excitement of our WILD employees filled the kitchen once again this past week. Smiling ear to ear, everyone gathered together to celebrate our second win at the title for Best Places to Work!
Our company is so proud of this achievement and we wanted to recognize not only the award, but how far our family of brands has evolved over the years. Founder and CEO, Reid Smith, shared a message recognizing and congratulating our team on their hard work and dedication.

This award recognizes companies that received high marks in areas such as team effectiveness, trust with co-workers, manager effectiveness and work engagements. The winners were chosen based on an employee-survey process conducted by Quantum Workplace. Once nominated, a company had to meet a threshold in employee participation – a percentage that varies based upon the size of the company – to be eligible to be honored. When we think of a team player we think of Nick Larson! He is always available and flexible, jumping in to help wherever needed both in the field and in the office.
Nick also loves to serve our community by building relationships with key community members. While it is not always an easy task, Nick welcomes everyone with open arms. Not only does he serve others but also our company as a whole.

Throughout the tough time of building homes, Matt Schelm embraced change! He faced a lot of supply chain issues, labor shortages, crazy real estate markets and so much more. With all of these obstacles, Matt adapts each day through critical thinking and problem solving.
These new situations do not interfere with Matt’s quality of work. His determination as a leader stays consistent and focused.

This self-starter is the man who everyone wants on their team! No matter the task, he will knock it out of the park. Our teams can rely on this person to maintain a high level of operational excellence, while still remaining efficient and fact-paced.
With our new venture, Wilders, Caleb has stepped up to the plate and has shown great versatility and flexibility. There are so many new strategies he pitched to improve Wilders’ inventory systems.
He never lacks the desire and discipline to help out all of our teams achieve success. He is always there to help!
